Andrija Mohorovičić (1857-1936) was a geophysicist, most famous for discovering the Mohorovičić Discontinuity; the point below the surface of the Earth where the crust becomes mantle. Beneath the continents, the Moho is 20-90km deep, and beneath the oceans 5-10km deep.
